Ohio PATHS
The Ohio PATHS Credentialing program advances the skills and knowledge of direct support professionals (DSPs) and front line supervisors who work with people who have disabilities.
“PATHS” stands for Professional Advancement through Training and Education in Human Services. The PATHS Program educates DSPs working in the field of mental retardation and developmental disabilities in the skills needed to work effectively. The results for the DSPs who have participated have been tremendous. DSPs are learning and refining skills and then exhibiting new confidence and professionalism in their work with individuals with MRDD.

PATHS is a program operated by the Ohio Alliance of Direct Support Professionals.
All classes and identified skill outcomes are based on the competencies found in the Community Support Skill Standards. Details about this can be found online here.
